Moni kortti on löytänyt tekijänsä ja siirretty
Kortteja ja tekijöitä -sivulle. Vieläkin tällä sivulla on monta sellaista korttia, jotka voisivat olla jonkun tunnetun tekijän tuotantoa. Niitä siirretään toiselle sivulle, jos tekijä löytyy.
Kortit on ajoitettu postileiman, osoitteen ja vastaanottajan siviilisäädyn ja postittamattomat kortit hankinta-ajankohdan mukaan, mikä ei välttämättä kerro korttien todellista ikää. Monet kortit näyttävät tyyliltään paljon ajoitustaan vanhemmilta ja on postitettu mahdollisesti kymmenenkin vuotta painatuksen jälkeen. Korttien elinkaari on ennen ollut moninverroin pitempi kuin nykyisin.
Ei ole tarkoitus, että tallennetaan koko sivu koodeineen omalle koneelle. Jos joku on kiinnostunut sivun toiminnasta, ohjeet siihen löytyvät linkistä

Many cards have found their makers and have been moved into the page of
Postcards & Illustrators. There are still on this page many such cards which might well be made by some well-known illustrator. They will also be moved into the other page if the illustrators will be found.
These cards have been dated by the date of postmark and the recipient's address and marital status, and the unmailed cards by the probable time of acquiring them, which doesn't necessarily tell their real age. The style of many cards looks clearly older than their presumed age and have been mailed possibly even ten years after their printing. The life span of cards has in old times been a great deal longer than now.
